Gina Carano appeared on a podcast for Eddie Goldman’s “No Holds Barred” MMA blog yesterday and explained why director Steven Soderbergh decided to play with her voice for the movie.

Gina Carano says Soderbergh used the voice altering to help distinguish the real Gina from her character Mallory – establishing that they are “two completely different entities.”

Gina Carano also said, “There was a little joke that I was saying that even if [Soderbergh] would have shaved my head and put Bill Clinton as my voice, I would have still done it.”

Gina Carano has been looking for this big Hollywood break for years – and she deserves it. Gina has walked the walk of a true competitive professional MMA fighter – she is at least as legitimate as any male actor in Hollywood in terms of being a true professional athlete. Not that it’s a good thing but Gina has tested positive for anabolic steroids (after her Strikeforce fight on December 17, 2011).

I watched her fight the deadly Cris “Cyborg” Santos, when Gina was defeated back in August 2009 and I assure you that Gina has true grit. Santos is not just the toughest female fighter in the world, she is probably the world’s toughest fighter!

No disrespect to Kaley – I’ve never had strong feelings about her either way – but how does this make any sense? Henry Cavill is a full-fledged movie star at long last. And now he’s tossed aside Gina Carano (who was interesting and sexy and compelling) for a standard-issue bubbly Hollywood blonde? I bet Ashley Greene is kicking herself right now – this was a missed opportunity, Ash. You could have been Henry Cavill’s official girlfriend. And not to get all elitist, but she’s JUST a TV Girl, and she’s not even on a good TV show, you know? It’s not like she’s on Mad Men. She’s on that stupid Big Bang Theory show. But yeah, I’m not going to hate on her too much. She seems like a nice person and she is cute, but I just hate the idea of Kaley with Henry. It’s like someone picked their names out of a hat.

This is pretty official too has the same story, that Henry is now with Kaley. A source tells the mag, “They were both single and started dating recently… It’s just the beginning stages of a relationship and they’re having a great time.” Here’s my question: who is leaking this stuff? Kaley or Henry? I really don’t know.

There’s a shortage of “before” pictures, so unless I want to look up a twenty-five year old episode of Miami Vice, I’m going to stick to my gut. She has a very imperfect, finely aged look to her, and although she does have very high cheek bones and a nice nose, they both look too natural and too beautifully flawed to be fake. So draw your own conclusions folks, but it looks like Ginnina Facio is just a great looking older woman.

After an extensive nationwide search, we’ve found someone with a larger top lip than Lisa Rinna. This upper lip, while sharing the same fullness as Miss Rinnna’s, is even wider! Congratulations, transgender beauty, Allanah Starr!

After that initial meeting, I was sold! I often feel that there are many doctors that know how desperate some of us transgendered girls can be, and they often take advantage of our need to look like we feel.

So, when it came time for me to have my facial feminization, I had no doubt as to who I would turn to!

I set up another appointment with Dr. Mayer and told him I wanted my face to be more feminine, and I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to look like. He made specific suggestions that would be more beneficial for my bone structure and ultimately, a more natural appearance. During the past seven years he is the only doctor to ever touch my face.
